You will be able to cut the mesh and turn the mat, but you cannot cut the heating wire. Make sure you select the appropriate square footage. You can combine several mats of any size to get the right total heating area coverage. Measure the walking area of the room, subtracting any area with permanent fixtures or flat-bottomed furniture. You will need one thermostat per 150 sq. ft. with a 120-Volt system and one thermostat per 300 sq. ft. with a 240-Volt system.
