It was east to cut and installExpensiveForget the plastic bracket just glue and nail down. Also perfect height for my 3/4" level change.I needed an attractive transition from tile in the bathroom to carpet in the hall, this did the job perfectly. My husband had to make some cuts/notches to fit the contours of the door frame & clean up overflow grout, but that was not a big job for him.product is exactly what I needed to bridge the gap between the kitchen tile and dining room wood floorThis hardwood tile to carpet transition piece looks great stained and is just the perfect transition piece we needed to join our tile floors to the carpet. We cut it down to fit the door opening, installed as instructed, and voila! That's all it took to make it work.As expectedI got the track screwed down fine, but the wood didn't really pop into the track. I was able to get it seated in the track but it never snapped (or held) in place as expected. The wood was slightly curved so one end wouldn't stay down in the track, so I pulled it up and scrapped it. Can't really return since I'd used the materials, cutting the piece to fit and staining the wood. Total waste of money, time and effort. Luckily I found something else similar that did the job.
