These bits have some really sharp diamonds on them. Cutting through stone started right away, rather than slowly getting through an adhesive layer first. The bits even shimmer like a diamond ring, which I usually don't see on most diamond embedded materials. I think this means that there is probably a lot more diamond bits than most tools.The sizes seem perfect for kitchen sink holes. I tested out the 35mm for the soap pump hole. The smaller bits are really useful for getting small tubing through rock as well (or electrical)So far, the biggest issue I'm having is not the bits, it's needing additional tools to use them. I was hoping I could get a clean cut by slowly getting the bit to start cutting into the stone by starting the cut at and angle. But the bit's edge is not smooth enough (it bounces) to allow you to hold it still. It definitely starts cutting the stone right away. But it's very hard to manually control (this is not a poor design of the bits) If you tried to cut any circle without guidance, you'd have trouble. So you definitely need a circular brace to hold the bit concentric (so it doesn't walk over the surface, and potentially ruin the stone) I'm used to my circle cutters having a center guide bit (for other materials). So I will buy a circle guide and try again, and re-rate these bits.It's worth noting that the case is fantastic, and very much needed. Any time you have a set of tools like this, you definitely need a way to keep them safe from getting chipped, and to keep the set together. The case is very compact. So this tool doesn't take up too much storage space.Also, I do use the drill adapter. I find this method of drilling allows me to better control the speed. Angle grinder speeds can generate a lot of heat instantly. So the adapter is a really excellent component that most kits don't include. Use trickling water keep the bits cool as well. Water also keeps your lungs safe from rock dust, which is very dangerous.In short, these bits are aggressive and start cutting quickly. But you will almost certainly need a circle guide. The adapters and case are great additions I may not have bought if they weren't included. And now I wouldn't recommend getting a kit without them.
